GE VMIVME-7750 is a comprehensive single board computer, and the following is a detailed introduction about it:
1、 Basic configuration and performance
Processor: The VMIVME-7750 is equipped with a Pentium III processor with a clock speed of up to 1.26 GHz, featuring 32-bit addressing and a 64 bit data bus. The superscalar architecture allows for the execution of three instructions per clock cycle, while the dynamic branch prediction unit, independent instruction and data cache, and MMX technology also improve the performance of the processor. In addition, it also provides 256 Kbyte (512 Kbyte in the 1.26 GHz version) of advanced transmission cache (on-chip full speed L2 cache), adopting a dual independent bus architecture, which can provide high bandwidth and high performance.
Memory: It accepts a 144 pin SDRAM SODIMM with a maximum memory capacity of 512 Mbyte. DRAM and VME dual port connection.
Graphics adapter: Built in 815E chipset AGP graphics adapter, supporting high-resolution graphics and multimedia quality videos. The adapter is equipped with a 4 Mbyte external synchronous DRAM cache and a high bandwidth 64 bit data interface, supporting screen resolutions of up to 1600x1200x256 colors (single view mode).
2、 Expansion and Interface
PMC extension interface: VMIVME-7750 provides a PMC extension site that can be accessed on the front panel and supports the IEEE-P1386 standard for common daughter cards.
Ethernet Controller: Supports Ethernet LAN through two Intel Ethernet controllers (one 82559 and the other ICH2 internal controller), supports 10BaseT and 100BaseTX options through two RJ45 connectors, and supports remote LAN boot.
Other interfaces: It has a transparent PCI to VME bridge, allowing the motherboard to act as a system controller or peripheral CPU in multi CPU systems, while providing rich I/O interfaces, including optional IDE interfaces, two 16 bit and two 32-bit programmable timers, 32 Kbyte non-volatile SRAM, etc.
3、 Operating System and Software Support
Operating System: VMIVME-7750 supports multiple operating systems, including Windows 2000, VxWorks, Solaris, QNX, Lynx OS, and Linux.
Software Support: GE Fanuc embedded system software products support these features and are designed for developers who integrate GE Fanuc embedded system SBC, I/O boards, and workstations into their systems. The IOWorks software series is a set of software components that can work together or separately, providing a comprehensive development environment for any application in the Windows XP/Windows 2000 operating system.

A three core AC power cord should be used and inserted into an approved three contact power socket, or a three contact to two contact adapter with a grounding wire should be used, and the grounding wire (green) should be firmly connected to the electrical grounding wire (safety grounding wire).
Operating environment: Do not operate this system in areas with flammable gases or smoke, as operating any electrical system in such an environment poses a clear safety hazard.
